Gantry Case Packer
Top load, servo exact.
A Cartesian Y–Z servo gantry that forms the pack matrix on the conveyor and top-loads it into the tray or case in one stroke — vacuum pick, ±1 mm placement, recipe-driven patterns.
The sequence
Product infeed
Product enters on the product conveyor, continuously fed from upstream.
Gantry to tray
The gantry moves to the tray loading position via servo-controlled Y–Z axes.
Pattern formed
Pneumatic pushers arrange the product into the pack pattern (e.g. 3×4, 4×4, 2×6).
Group picked
The vacuum gripper lowers over the formed matrix, picks the group and confirms pickup.
Tray located
Empty trays feed onto the indexing conveyor; presence is confirmed and the tray located under the gantry.
Loaded into tray
The Z-axis lowers the group into the tray; vacuum releases with drop height adjusted per layer.
Tray discharged
The loaded tray is released and the indexing conveyor transfers it downstream.
Repeat
The system repeats automatically for continuous production.
The detail
Typical for a standard build. Every machine is engineered to the product, pattern and layout of the line it serves.
