Junior PLC Programmer
Write the logic. Bring machines to life — on the floor, not just the screen.
At Intralog, controls engineering is where the machine comes alive.
We design and build industrial automation — conveyors, packaging machines, palletising systems and special-purpose machinery — and you’ll write the PLC logic, SCADA and HMI that make them run.
As a Junior PLC Programmer, you’ll design, program, test and commission automation systems, in our works and out on customer sites. You’ll be trusted to work independently and see your code control real machines on live production lines.
What you’ll work on
- PLC programs on the Siemens platform
- SCADA — Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware InTouch and System Platform
- HMI screens in Pro-face
- Electrical control-panel design in E-Plan
- Field wiring, testing and commissioning
What you’ll do
- Design electrical control-panel schematics in E-Plan
- Develop software logic on the Siemens automation platform
- Build SCADA and HMI screens
- Create and read logic and flow diagrams for design, simulation, testing and start-up
- Factory-test visualisation systems before dispatch
- Supervise field wiring on customer sites
- Commission machines at customer sites and provide remote support
What you’ll learn
PLC programming. SCADA and HMI development. Electrical schematics. Industrial communication. Testing and commissioning. And, because mechanical, electrical and controls happen under one roof, how a complete automation machine actually works.
How you’ll grow
You’ll start by supporting senior controls engineers on programming and factory testing.
As you build confidence, you’ll move from testing → commissioning support → owning the commissioning of complete machines and independent site support.
You might be a great fit if…
- You like making things move, not just simulating them.
- You’re comfortable on a shop floor and at a customer site, not only behind a desk.
- You can work independently, remotely and troubleshoot under pressure.
- You’ve done a certified PLC course and want to go deep on real machines.
What we’re looking for
- Graduation in Electronics Engineering from a reputed institution.
- Completed a certified training course in PLC programming.
- Willing to travel to customer sites to support and commission projects.
Why Intralog?
It’s all happening under one roof. Work on real automation projects for customers including Amul, Decathlon and RRCAT, with a young engineering team where you can see your contribution directly.
